Education Qaulification:
The educational requirements to apply for RBI Grade ‘B’ notification are as follows
Grade ‘B’ (DR) (General) Officers.
Minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or equivalent in Bachelor’s Degree and Grade 12 (or Diploma or equivalent) and Grade 10 examinations. The minimum grade for the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent shall be the sum of all semesters/years.
Grade “B” (DR)-DEPR officers.
Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course / Finance with minimum 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate in all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or foreign University/Institute or PGDM / MBA Finance with A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate in all the semesters/years or a Master’s degree in Economics in a sub-category of Economics (Agriculture/Business/Development etc.) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate in all the semesters/years from a recognized university/institute in India or abroad or a Master’s degree in Economics in a sub Master’s Degree in Economics in any sub-category (Agriculture/Business/Development etc.) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate for all semesters/years from a recognized Indian or foreign University/Institute. OR M.Sc. in Economics in any sub-category of Economics (Agriculture/Business/Development/Applied etc.) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate for all semesters/years from a recognized university/institute in India or abroad.
Grade “B” (DR)-Officer at DSIM
M.Sc. in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics and Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ M.Sc. in Applied Statistics and Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent (sum of all semesters/ all academic years) or M.Sc. in Mathematics with 55 percent or equivalent (all semesters/all grades combined) and a one-year postgraduate diploma in statistics or a related subject from a reputed research institute or a master’s degree from the Indian Statistical Institute with 55 percent or equivalent grades (all semesters/all grades combined). Or a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in all semesters/years combined.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of the date of selection; OBC and SC/ST have an upper age relaxation of 3 and 5 years.
