Education Qaulification
- Medical Assistant (10+2): must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology or English Language with minimum 50% and 50% aggregate marks in English Language and passed 10+2/intermediate/equivalent examination.
Completion of two years professional course in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or English with aggregate marks of not less than 50% and 50% in English; born between January 2, 2004 and January 2, 2008 (both dates inclusive); born between January 2, 2004 and January 2, 2008 (both dates inclusive); born between January 2, 2004 and January 2, 2008 (both dates inclusive); born between January 2, 2004 and January 2, 2008 (both dates inclusive); born between January 2, 2004 and January 2, 2008 (both dates inclusive). - For Medical Assistant (B.Sc/Diploma): persons with a B.Sc/Diploma in Pharmacy. Must have passed intermediate level/10+2 examinations/equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Diploma/B.Sc. in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks and have valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Selection Process:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): the first stage of the physical fitness test. In this test, participants have to cover a distance of 1.6 km. Push-ups, sit-ups and squats are performed in a certain time.
- Written test: those who have passed the physical fitness test must take a written test. The test consists of objective type questions on general knowledge, reasoning and English.
- Adaptation Test: must pass the Air Force adaptation test.
- Medical Examination: During the medical examination for Air Force Group Y positions, the examiner checks the physical fitness of the candidate. They have to undergo a medical examination for height, chest circumference and eyesight.
