Education Qaulification:
In order for AAI to recruit candidates through GATE, candidates must meet the following educational requirements
- Graduation from a Government of India approved university or a reputed educational institute such as IIT, IIM, IIMS, XLRI, TISS, etc.
- At least 60% or equivalent in the relevant engineering discipline at the time of obtaining the Bachelor’s degree.
- Executive (Civil Engineering): Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
- Executive (Electrical Engineering): Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
- Executive (Electronics): Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Electronics Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with specialization in electronics, telecommunications or electrical engineering
- Executive (Architecture): Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and registered with the Architecture Council
- Executive (Computer Science and Information Technology): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science or Engineering.
Age Limit:
The age limit for AAI recruitment candidates by GATE is not more than27 years. The age of applicants will be determined as of May 1, 2024. Age relaxation will also be provided through official guidelines.

Applicants currently employed full-time by AAI will have their age relaxed by up to 10 years.
- General: 27 Years
- OBC (Non-creamy Layer): 30 Years
- SC and ST Applicants: 32 Years
- PwD Applicants: 37 Years
AAI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:
- Shortlisted applicants will receive a notification regarding the next round of selection on their registered e-mail ID.
- Applicants who have passed the screening process will be required to visit AAI on the dates indicated in their respective notifications to have their documents verified.
- Applicants must submit an original certificate, a photo ID, and one set of photocopies of the certificate when completing the application form.
- After verification, final selection will be based on the merit list based on the applicant’s GATE 2024 score.
